How do I get my gingerbread cookie dough to stick together?
Question by jessica y: How do I get my gingerbread cookie dough to stick together?
I’ve followed the recipe, and my ‘dough’ is all shattered into tiny pieces like i’ve never added anything but flour. Is there a way to fix it?
(i’ve tried refridgerating it, but it doesnt work..)

hmm sounds like it’s too dry. maybe try adding a little water or milk to it. just a little at a time. you can always add to but not take back.

You may have used too much flour. Did you fluff it up before measuring? If it was packed too heavily, then you used too much even if you leveled off the measuring cup.
Fix your dough by adding a little water or milk – a teaspoon at a time. You’ll be surprised how little more moisture it will need.
